Kinda my lucky day, maybe?

Hmmm..

So I was leaving work a little late yesterday afternoon and my project manager stopped me in the hall. Said they were planning on hiring a temporary technical writer now that Gary is gettting activated on Tuesday and that they were going to post the position today at some temp agency. She suggested I go there and apply.

So that's what I did this morning.

AND I only stuck 15 cents in the meter (I think that's 20 minutes or something. 50 cents = half hour. Someone else do the math) and when I came out 45 minutes later, I didn't have a ticket. WooHoo!

SCORE!

K. So I started up my Grid.org account on Feb 12. It was my goal to break the 100,000 rank for points generated by the end of my internship.

This morning: Points Generated (Rank) 51,008 (#99,062)

Cuz I worked so hard at achieving this oh-so-honorable achievement...

according to Men's Journal, St. Cloud is the 36th best place to live.

(New York-AP) -- St. Cloud, Rochester and Duluth are ranked among the 50 Best Places to Live in the United States.

That's according to the May issue of Men's Journal, hitting stands this week.

The story highlights the hippest, healthiest and most adventure-packed small cities in America.

St. Cloud is ranked 36th, Rochester is ranked 37th and Duluth is 50th.

Boulder, Colorado, was rated the best overall. Best in the Midwest honors went to Bloomington, Indiana, while Madison, Wisconsin, had the most bars.

The magazine lists population, location, climate and town scene among the details for each city in the Top 50.
