Nov. 8th, 2003 01:29 amChuck gave me a bracelet today.
Off of his own arm.
He's in the process of making his own chain-mail shirt for next year's renaissance festival, and has made a bunch of bracelets, too, just because.
And it turns out he's looking for reasons to make more.
So he told me to go see all of the ones he's made already that are on other Mail Center wrists.
And when it got down to what I wanted, I said I'd like one like the one he had on.
So he took it off, removed a few links so it'd fit my arm better, and put it on me.
Herein lies the problem: I did not ask for the bracelet. He just offered it in a way that would make me look bad if I declined. But I don't like things on my wrists. I don't wear jewelry hardly ever and dangly things on my wrists distract me. But I will somehow still have to wear the thing every once in a while to show my gratitude. Because it is a cool piece of work.
Huh.
Goin' to Anna's hockey team's game tomorrow night.
Babysitting little Jackson Tate all day on Sunday.
