Jun. 7th, 2007 11:38 pmJust finished putting together my new file cabinet:

The style matches the futon we bought from Shopko a year or so back, although it is a tad lighter wood.
*shrug*
me likes.
I am very impressed with the entire assembly process. Rather than just a diagram of each of the pieces to assemble and their respective labeling, the pieces actually have tiny stickers with the label on them! And instead of a tiny bag with all the screw bits and washers and whatnot thrown together, it's a bubble pack much like batteries with plastic in front and cardboard on the back for each different screw component, its label and its quantity. The only issue I had was the one groove to slide the back panel in had a slight hard chunk of wood or glue in it. I had to whack away at it for awhile, but got some frustrations out in the process.
Now the pile of various printer paper and the printer all have homes! I just need to get some hanging files and we are set!
Projects are fun!
