Here are some pics of my current bathroom progress. You can click on them to see the bigger versions.
The first is the old wallpaper - now, sadly, on its way to its new home in the city dump.

Here's where the shower window is. This is after Rick has finished putting in the new glass block. Notice how bright it is in here!

And a cool side view of the glass block. Tim wanted the wavy design, but it wasn't very high privacy. Save the children and all of that...

Here's our lovely 70s style lighting. I tell you, nothing is classier than brushing your teeth under some dusty dangling balls.

Underneath the clutter lies a bright yellow counter top. The wall behind the mirror was actually this color, too, until Tim's ex-girlfriend Ginny painted it green instead. An improvement - no doubt - but still not my favorite.

Here's a shot of the lovely linoleum. I'd like to tell you that that dark brown spot in the middle there is just a shadow, but it's not.

The pattern might have been pretty once. It might also have once matched the bright yellow. Now it matches, um...

Notice the love faded and stained parts. You can scrub it all you like (I have) but it doesn't get any prettier than this.

The old antiqued brass hardware. Soon to be replaced...

At least the color scheme matched my Great Grandma Esther's vase...

The lighting didn't come out quite right because the green is quite a bit brighter than how it shows in the pictures, but you get the gist of it.
And now off to Kansas City tomorrow!
