Last night we went to Spamalot in St. Paul. I was entertained although all of the Broadway jokes flew high over my head. theeothertim decided the dancing girl in purple was his favorite and he was mighty jealous of Puzi's forethought of bringing opera glasses to get a better view. *ahem*

So, what that also means is we drove under 35W literally not more than 15 minutes before it collapsed on our way to dinner at Sakura.

Tim and I must be horrible people because our first thought is to go see it, not call everyone in our phone book who could remotely be anywhere near that bridge. Is that bad of us? I'm not sure.

We got to spend some time with superna and hardly any with unopeneddoor (sorry about that) and then when we dropped 'Na off, we got to see motogeek and his new proof of uber cool globalization. He's slowly going to take over the world, that one.

Off to Mexican Village for Gary's birthday dinner...

It's incredible how many people had close calls for that thing. My cousin's husband had been on it just a few minutes before. Scary.

Anyway, was Spamalot as good as advertised?

It was good. There were many Broadway jokes that flew over my head, but it was entertaining and if you enjoyed Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you'd enjoy this play.
