Oy.

Just nearly had a heart-attack.

I was logged onto another customer's site and wanted to clear out some old files in their root directory in preparation of an update to their software today.

Unfortunately, I added an extra space to my command line: rm ln_rec *
I was trying to type rm ln_rec*

Luckily all of the program directories and files are still there and so far the worst that's happened is a printer stopped working because the dynamic link it referred to was deleted.

Oy.
Brain hurts from the adrenaline rush.

I feel like such an ass.

Thank goodness for backups!!!!!!!

We've all done that :-) The sinking feeling as you realise the mistake, and then frantically whacking on Ctrl_C is what I hate.
