I just learned how to make a pot of coffee in the coffee maker today.

Yes, I am 27 years old.

I think it's because it's quieter here than at my last job. No background music. And a little darker. And colder. And it has the background noise of many computers and servers running, which just helps me fall asleep. So I started drinking coffee to stay awake and warm.

Cindy, our front desk lady, was kind enough to show me how to make it. She asked me if I prefer it stronger or weaker. I told her I just drink whatever's in the pot and then put a packet of sweetener in it. I really had no preference otherwise. She laughed at me a bit. Heh.

I've learned such things, but I haven't figured out how to do it without spilling coffee grinds. Also, even though it's only four steps - Fill with water, add filter, insert grounds, turn on - I usually manage to miss one of those steps at least once a week when I'm making coffee at home. I blame the cat.

I have tea at work. It's less messy and darned tasty, if you get the good stuff. There's a Teavana in the MoA, they sell looseleaf teas. And there's several small tea shops in Minneapolis as well.

Or if you're feeling like just getting some teabags Numi and Tazo teas are good, you can get them at Target.

Oh, I'm all about the Stash Tea. timecrash sent me a care package once with some in it and I've been hooked ever since.

But lately I've preferred coffee, for some reason.
