  • 10:16:37: I'm thinking of getting a seasonal job at the Mall this holiday season. It has to be low drama, though, and work with my schedule. Macy's?
  • 10:44:53: I understand that low drama != retail job during the holidays. Maybe being a cashier?
  • 14:34:21: I love it when conf calls directly involving me are scheduled <24hrs in advance for time already booked on topic I'm not prepared for.

If, in spite of raise, you're still looking for holiday work, check into local banquet halls. Good holiday cash without the retail nonsense. And a fun gig!

I would, but I want to keep my weekends free to see my husband. I was hoping for part-time work just on MWF. Do banquet halls have much stuff going on MWF?

It depends on the hall and the types of banquets they have. Most of them are on the weekends, obviously, but there are things going on during the week.
